Fibaro's CO sensor is an ultra-light, compact and battery-powered Z-Wave carbon monoxide detector designed to be mounted on a wall. Its high sensitivity makes it perfect for detecting the presence of carbon monoxide gas (CO) at an early stage in order to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning. The alarm is signaled acoustically with a siren built into the CO sensor itself, an LED indicator and a Z-Wave message to the home automation controller. Furthermore, the appliance is equipped with a temperature sensor.
The Fibaro CO sensor is certified BSI Kitemark with the license, recognized around the world as a sign of quality and safety. Each sensor with the BSI Kitemark symbole is subject to continuous monitoring, which covers routine product testing and evaluation of the manufacturing quality control process.
Simplicity saves lives
Simple and easy to understand notifications allow anyone to assess the immediate threat.
- healthy (green): Carbon monoxide was not detected or its concentration is very low, you can relax.
- Moderate (orange): CO concentration can affect how you feel, be sure to ventilate the room, check the ventilation and find the source.
- CO detector (red): The level of CO is high enough to be life threatening; Follow the rules for critical CO concentration levels.
A certified carbon monoxide sensor with exceptional measurement accuracy. It is capable of detecting even slightly increased amounts of carbon monoxide, which are sufficient to affect your well-being over time. At higher concentrations, the FIBARO CO sensor will immediately inform you of a threat. The sensor will work even without being connected to the system, so it can continuously monitor the house.
The built-in temperature sensor allows you to adjust heating and air conditioning more precisely. It's as easy as connecting the FIBARO CO sensor to the system and making use of the measurements it provides. By detecting sudden increases in temperature you can also help reveal the places where a fire could start.
An audible alarm will alert you when the carbon monoxide concentration becomes dangerous. Also, it signals the sensor status and low battery level. It is a self-contained device, which works independently of the system - it will save your life even if there is a power failure in your home.
The LED light expands the ability of the FIBARO CO sensor to provide alerts and information. The red light flashes to draw your attention to the danger, while the different colors inform you about the way the sensor is working, the battery level or to successfully identify the device.
The FIBARO CO sensor is a safety device, therefore tests to meet the applicable requirements of EN 50291-1: 2010 are performed by the BSI Group accredited test laboratory. Each sensor is subject to continuous monitoring, which encompasses routine product testing and evaluation of manufacturing quality control processes.
