Control a KNX installation from your Zipato Zipabox!
The KNX expansion module for Zipabox is a simple solution for the integration of the KNX protocol. The device is compatible with the BAOS protocol for data access points. This allows KNX devices to fully integrate into a Zipato system network through the standard KNX bus.
By adding support for the Zipabox KNX network, the user can connect any compatible KNX device and combine them with all existing devices in the network, regardless of the protocol. The KNX module is used mainly by advanced users to add more device options and increase the number of devices that can be controlled by Zipabox.
The KNX module is plugged into the Zipabox expansion connector (slot 2 or the expansion module connected to slot 2).
