The door and window sensor Aeotec Door / Window Sesnsor 7 is a sensor that detects if the window is open, closed or tilted, which requires an angle of inclination of at least 5 °. The sensor is easily adaptable. In addition, the Aeotec door / window sensor 7 can include other sensors connecting to other binary sensors such as NTC contacts, microswitches or a flood sensor.
Thanks to its slim design, the Aeotec 7 door / window sensor can be easily installed in any window. The sensor must be installed simply on the window leaf. In addition, a thin magnet should be installed near the sensor in the window frame.
With potential-free input, the Aeotec 7 door / window sensor can also include other sensors in its Z-Wave system. To do this, the binary sensor is connected to the potential-free input of the sensor. In addition to the sensors, it is also possible to connect pushbuttons, which control the scenes of the Z-Wave home automation controller.
