The AJAX MotionCam (PhOD) HDR motion detector incorporates all the advantages of the standard MotionCam HDR and adds the Photo on Demand function: the ability to request a real-time photograph from the Ajax app at any time, without waiting for an alarm to be triggered.

HDR technology: maximum detail in any lighting condition

The revised version of the MotionCam (PhOD) incorporates high dynamic range (HDR) imaging: the sensor captures several consecutive photos at different shutter speeds and combines them into a single, sharp image. The result is clear photographs even in scenes with strong backlighting, bright windows, or very dark areas, where conventional sensors typically overexpose or darken the image.

Photo on Demand: Check your home whenever you want

Unlike the standard model, the (PhOD) allows you to request an instant photo from the app at any time with the system armed or disarmed, depending on role configuration, ideal for taking a quick look at pets, checking that everything is in order when leaving home, or visually verifying an area without triggering an alarm.

Photo by Scenario: automatic photos linked to other devices

In addition to capturing photos when triggered by its own alarms, the MotionCam (PhOD) HDR can be activated by a scenario linked to another Ajax device. For example, if a FireProtect 2 detects smoke, the MotionCam will automatically take a photo to help confirm whether it is a real threat.

Photo verification in less than 9 seconds

Thanks to the high-speed Wings protocol, photos reach the Ajax app in less than 9 seconds, allowing a quick response for both the user and the alarm receiving center.

System requirements:

This detector requires a Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus, or Hub Hybrid to send photos (the original Hub and Hub Plus models are not compatible with this feature). To extend the signal range, it is compatible with the ReX 2 repeater.
