The Danfoss HC (Hydraulic Controller) is part of the wireless Z-wave control systems for heating systems in residential homes.
The Danfoss HC allows the control of hot water underfloor heating systems. The system offers a large bandwidth of advanced functions for optimal comfort and energy savings and allows a single control of the ambient temperature.
The Danfoss HC includes, among other things: 5 short-circuit safety outputs for 24V NC or NO actuators, relays for pump and boiler control, self-test program, ON / OFF or PWM principle regulation (modulation by pulse width), etc.
The system can exist from multiple Danfoss HC for larger systems with more than 5 actuator drives. The Danfoss HC has a direct connector to a 230V power supply. Therefore, an additional transformer is not required, but all actuator drives are supplied with a voltage of 24 V.
Control of hot water underfloor heating systems
5 outputs protected against short circuit with LED warning
Output for 24 V NC or NO drive
Guarantee of the operation of the valve in all the outputs, even with temperature control, every 14 days of movement of the valve for ca. 12 minutes
PWM principle regulation (pulse width modulation)
Relays for the regulation of the pump with automatic start of the pump of 1 minute every three days, to avoid damages during the periods of waiting time.
Relays for boiler regulation, only active during heating needs
Automatic self-diagnosis to show the loss of connection with the device
