Soil moisture probe wired for use...
Soil moisture probe wired for use with the GreenIQ garden console and the rest of accessories in this range of products. It allows us to move a moisture threshold from the cultivation soil to the GreenIQ smart irrigation controllers. With 2m cable

Our VH400 series soil moisture sensor probes allow accurate and low-cost control of the soil moisture level.
Because our probes measure the water content of the soil using transmission line techniques, they are insensitive to water salinity and will not corrode over time, as it does with conductivity based probes. Our probes are waterproof, small, robust, low power and can be buried at any depth.
Compared to other low-cost sensors such as gypsum block sensors, our probes offer a fast response time. You can insert and take an accurate reading in less than a second.
The probes come in standard cable lengths of 2 meters, (also by incarceration with cable of 5 meters and 10 meters.)
Now you can connect up to 3 soil moisture sensors from Vegetronix to your Smart Garden Hub. the
The sensors allow you to stop watering automatically or even skip a watering cycle when there is
enough moisture in the soil. You can also receive alerts by email when the humidity is too low. Let your plants get only the amount of water they need, taking into account weather conditions.
Drip irrigation and intelligent irrigation systems
Soil moisture monitoring of plant foods in general
Rain and climate monitoring
Water conservation applications
Extremely low cost with volume prices
Not based on conductivity
Insensitive to salinity
The probe does not corrode over time
Robust design for long-term use
Quick response time
Consumes less than 13 mA for very low power operation
Measure the volumetric water content (VWC) or the gravimetric water content (GWC).
The output voltage is proportional to the humidity level.
Wide range of supply voltage.
It can be buried and is waterproof.
The probe is long and thin for wider use, including plants in smaller pots.
