With this wall-mounted wall-mounted controller, you can operate your Z-Wave smart devices from anywhere in the room to be controlled. The flat design switch can be located and relocated on any flat surface, without the need for cables or connections. Turn the lights, heating or blinds on or off at the touch of a button. Using the switch / surface controller is as simple as using a conventional switch - but with significant additional functions.
The device can be used as a primary controller or as a secondary Z-Wave controller as well. Using the internal buttons 3 and 4, new Z-Wave devices can be added to the Z-Wave surface switch / controller. You can also remove devices from your Z-Wave rez.
Due to your choices as a main home automation controller, the battery-operated Z-Wave switch / controller can be used as a stand-alone remote controller, even without the need for a home automation control unit or Z-Wave Gateway. Devices such as plugs, blinds, light dimmers or light switches, as well as electronic Z-Wave locks, can be controlled by this switch / controller directly.
Once a device has been added to the interuptor / controller, it checks the type of device (switch, dimmer &) and assigns the buttons with the correct Z-Wave commands.
Of course, the battery operated switch / controller may include a smart home automation network based on Z-Wave.
There are also possibilities to link defined home automation scenes such as lowering the blinds simultaneously to turn on the lights of the room with a single press of the switch / controller. You can also place the switch / controller next to the entrance door and activate a domotic exit scene of the house that turns off all lights and electrical devices and / or appliances controlled by Z-Wave and that you do not need to have on while we are away from home, with just a press of a button when leaving.
