The Engenius EAP1250 Ceiling Access Point is a new wave2 Wave2 technology equipment that allows a high density of users and a high penetration capacity. This equipment, being developed under Wave 2, complies with Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) and Transmit Beam-forming (TxBF) technologies. The MU-MIMO allows several connection streams for different clients simultaneously, increasing the total throughput, reducing the latency and increasing the wireless capacity and the spectrum efficiency. The TxBF standard allows to focus the energy of different antennas transmitted in the direction of a specific client
It should be noted that the EAP1250 includes advanced wireless features such as Fast Roaming and Band Steering that optimize the quality of the signal received by different customers. It is also fully manageable by the free ezMaster software from Engenius, or by the switches of the EWS series from this manufacturer.
