Z-UNO is an Arduino board with Z-Wave interface. What do I need to use Z-One? A Z-Wave controller and a computer with USB port where we can program Z-One as we could with any Arduino board. In Z-One we can create Z-Wave devices (up to 30 in a single plate) and register them in our Z-Wave controller to interact with them in the usual way. At its 26 GPIO ports we can connect devices such as sensors, LEDs, relays, etc.

Z-UNO offers you the opportunity to create your own Z-Wave devices without the in-depth knowledge of the Z-Wave protocol. Z-UNO combines the power of the Z-Wave wireless automation protocol with the simplicity of Arduino boards.

The programming is done by writing a "sketch" in simplified C language. Many and varied examples in tutorials will help you to finish your own projects successfully.

The Z-UNO board is certified as Z-Wave Plus which makes it compatible with most gateways or Z-Wave home automation controllers such as RaZberry, Home Center 2 / Lite, Vera Edge and Zipato Zipabox. (Jul 2016).

Z-UNO is the first and only easy-to-use development board that will allow you to create your own Z-Wave devices without Z-Wave programming knowledge. Z-UNO is an interesting mix of the power of the protocol via radio Z-Wave coupled with the simplicity and ease offered by Arduino. Inspired by the Arduino project Z-UNO inherits all the concepts of "easy-to-use" hardware and software, while maintaining maximum flexibility.

Z-UNO is a totally DIY product (Do It Yourself = Do It Yourself). It is made for those who may have limitations with their Z-Wave products and need to expand and extend the possibilities with more sensors and actuators: connect LEDs, buttons, switches, motors or any low voltage sensor including most compatible Arduino sensors.

The programming of Z-UNO is done by simple "sketch" in simplified C language, and loading it on the Z-UNO board using Arduino IDE . Multiple examples and tutorials will help you turn your project into reality.
