This extension module for backup is usually used for home automation installations where power cuts occur frequently or to ensure the notification of alarms in Z-Wave based Zipato based alarm usage environments. With this expansion module, backup and USB input for the Zipato Zipabox home automation controller, we have the possibility to power the Control Unit with the internal batteries of this module up to approximately 24 hours, thus ensuring that our installation does not run out.
In addition to maintaining the power supply this backup module with USB slot for Zipabox allows a USB connection so that we can put a skewer or 3G modem (not included) in USB format and thus also ensure internet connectivity in case the router has stopped working, also due to power failure or any other reason.
