The intelligent motor controller is 1 of the 2 parts that make the Aeotec garage door controller such an interesting element. Built on Z-Wave home automation technology, it connects to the existing garage door engine, and is full of control and safety functions.

Aeotec garage door controller not only allows you to control the garage door to open or close it, but also allows you to check and verify its status. Whether used through the engine or manually, the smart sensor that comes with this garage door control kit reads whether the door is opened or closed, and may notify you when that happens and should not have happened .

The Aeotec garage door controller not only keeps your garage safe from intruders, but also keeps your loved ones and goods safe around the garage. The Aeotec garage door controller complies with all UL325 standards, the safety standard that defines the professional garage mode of the door motors must operate. With its own safety features and built-in warning systems, the garage door controller is not only compatible with the stringent requirements of UL325 - it also does not override the basic safety functions that your door already offers.

The garage door controller includes everything you need to make your garage an important part of your connected home. From the cables necessary to connect it to an engine, with the USB cable it can be used to change, optionally, its MP3 tones, etc.

Description:Aeon Labs Garage Door Controller is a smart and wireless Garage Door Control system, you can control the garage door to open, close, or stop moving via wireless signal on your gateway client or phone application. The Garage Door Controller allows you to configure different alarm sounds to indicate the door’s action. Each action alarm sound can be customized. To change or update new alarm sounds for the Garage Door Controller, connect the Garage Door Controller to your PC host with a USB cable and download your sound files to the flash memory (128 MB) of the Garage Door Controller. It can be included and operated in any Z-Wave network with other Z-Wave certified devices from other manufacturers and/or other applications. All non-battery operated nodes within the network will act as repeaters regardless of vendor to increase reliability of the network. It is also a security Z-Wave device and supports the Over The Air (OTA) feature for the product’s firmware upgrade.

When the Garage Door controller is received the commands sent by controller to be turned on or off, the Garage Door controller will send a basic report of its status to the nodes in association group 1. Pair the Sensor with Garage Door Controller
This parameter is used to pair the Sensor with Garage Door Controller. Note: 1. This procedure should only be used when the complimentary Sensor is missing or inoperable and you have another new Sensor that would be paired with your Garage Door Controller. 2. When the pairing is started, the Network LED will blink slowly, at this time, you just need to press the Temper Switch back of the Sensor once. If the Network LED change to be solid, which means the pairing is successful. Otherwise, repeat the steps.
