DualCurtain Outdoor controls the perimeter without creating obstacles for people already inside. Two independent optics with narrow viewing sectors and flexible settings allow you to fine-tune 30 meters of detection, excluding potential sources of false alarms. The exclusive ELSA software responds to intruders, ruling out activations by natural interference and pets.

Engineering detection
On the sides of the detector there are two optical systems with narrow viewing sectors, each equipped with two PIR sensors. Thanks to temperature compensation, detection is always accurate. The signals from the sensors are analyzed by our new digital ELSA algorithm. The detector triggers an alarm only if two sensors of the same optical system simultaneously capture human movement.

Efficiency in the nearby area
DualCurtain Outdoor features a protected area widening technology that is unique among outdoor curtain motion detectors. When Near Area Detection is enabled, the detector's top PIR sensor gets an additional narrow viewing sector directed at a 40 ° angle downward against the main sector. This functionality allows both sensors to detect movement when a person crosses the protected perimeter near the detector housing itself, addressing the blind spot problem typical of these detectors.
Near Area Detection is designed to protect windows and other pathways that animals cannot access. The proximity of the vectors to the detection zones significantly reduces the efficiency of pet immunity.The near area detection mode is a proprietary technology from Ajax Systems.

A casing. Two independent detectors.
The detection range of the two optics is adjusted independently. It allows you to precisely establish the perimeter protected by DualCurtain Outdoor and avoid false alarms caused by a bush swaying in the wind or by people passing by a public sidewalk. So that the detector's field of view is not blocked by a column or storm drain on the façade, the optical systems can be moved vertically. In the app, you can adjust the sensitivity or disable one of the optics.

Resistant to attacks
DualCurtain Outdoor cannot be imperceptibly disabled or disabled even if Ajax is disarmed. The detector's optics are reinforced with advanced masking sensors that respond to obstacles, coverage, and lens painting. The tamper switch will not allow the device to be removed from the bracket undetectable. And even if the detector is instantly destroyed, it will take less than a minute for the hub to detect the loss of communication and report the problem to a central monitoring station and users.
Exceptional autonomy
Due to its low energy consumption, DualCurtain Outdoor works for years with pre-installed batteries. The alarm receiving center and users will be notified in advance of the need for maintenance of the device.
Tangle-free installation
The DualCurtain Outdoor connection and setup process saves the installation engineer time in the best possible way. To add a detector to the system, all you have to do is scan the QR code with the Ajax app, assign it a name and a room. Configure the device in the app in real time while testing the detection zones and communication. If necessary, you can disable the detector or reconfigure its system parameters remotely, without visiting the site.
